I am currently majoring in Animal Science BioTechnology at UMass where I am working toward Veterinary School for a career alongside animals of all kinds. Working with and learning about animals has been my passion since I was little! I worked at an animal shelter in my hometown for two years, where I had experience working with dogs and cats. I helped in keeping their areas clean, playing with them, feeding, teaching, etc. I have experience with animals with behavioral problems and have worked closely with several rescued pets and helped them adapt to a home environment. I have also taken classes on pet care and how to understand animal behavior. Additionally, I fostered three small kittens last year with fleas and other medical problems and cared for them for over a month. I grew up with several dogs in the family, and two of my own, as well as having two cats that current live with me. Additionally, I’ve owned/have experience caring for guinea pigs, fish, and other small animals. I am confident that I can provide outstanding care to all animals, and I am quick to learn any additional needs for young and/or senior dogs and cats. I will go above and beyond for any animal in my care.
