I have taken care of dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and personalities. Growing up in a big family I was around many dogs and cats over the years. I gained experience feeding, walking, and playing with my different family member's pets and eventually was asked to help when they went on vacation. Additionally, I have house sat for family members and a few other people over long weekends and took care of their dogs and cats during these stays. In my undergrad experience, my roommate had a small ESA dog named Ellie and I helped with taking her out for walks, grooming her, and playing with her. I am happy to meet each animal at their pace and I keep their safety and enjoyment as my top priorities. Well-liked by most animals, I have a non-threatening tone and disposition that translates to trust between myself and the dogs or cats I am caring for.
