As a pet owner, I know it’s not easier to leave your baby with anyone, and trust and relationship needs to be established with both pups and owners from the beginning. I send constant updates of your dog’s stay, so you can be sure that they’re having a blast. We are a family of animal lovers — we will take care of your pup as she was our own, and I try to communicate with owners as much as I can. I love animals. I wasn't allowed to have any when I was growing up so as soon as I was able, I started to foster animals for the Humane Society and I have been doing so for 14 years. Dogs are really special — they make you feel so loved, and they come in all sizes and colors. Best of all, they each have their own personalities! I have fostered several dogs with all types of conditions, as well as puppies that just need to get bigger so they can be neutered or spayed so they can be put up for adoption. I have two dogs of my own — Rum — a 12-year-old Jack Russell who is starting to show his age :(. He is wears a diaper and it's deaf. However, sometimes he shows signs of his young self and like to play with our guests. My "puppy" Snoopy is a 2 year old Foster-fail Lab mix with something (we think it might be Border Collie). He has tons of energy, and having company helps him a bunch because he can burn some of that energy! We also have an ten-year-old cat (Tigre) who is a little bit skeptical in the beginning about visitors so he hides until he feels comfortable. Rum, Snoopy and Tigre have dog and cats cousins and friends that we board all the time. I have a lot of experience with cats as well. I have owned my own cats for 15 years, and have fostered lots and lots of kitties until they were placed in their forever homes. I know a lot of dogs have cat siblings, and I’d be more than happy to board kitties as well. I’d describe myself as energetic, passionate and happy. I suppose, a lot like dogs! They make me very happy, and that’s why I feel energized and passionate when they’re in my life. I have small children who like to go out a lot, so we have different plans every weekend. Depending on the season we go to orchards or maze or parks (lots of parks), and we bring the dogs when we can. If it were up to me, I’d have a bunch more of my own but my husband keeps me from being the crazy animal woman of the neighborhood! By sitting with Rover, I get to dream that all the dogs are mine… and stay off the animal hoarder show :)
