My favorite home stay experience was when I once took care of my math teacher's 2 dogs (1 medium 1 large) and 1 cat for an entire month while she was on vacation in Australia with her husband. My responsibilities included feeding them daily, emptying the cat litter on a regular basis and walking the medium dog daily. I also had to make sure that the cat did not escape into the garden via the kitchen door since he had done that in the past and was almost run over by a car.
