Pet care experience
Hi there! My name’s Juliana. I went to Loyola University Chicago and currently live in Edgewater. I’ve been on Rover for 5 years and hope to continue walking dogs and house sitting in the city. I have always loved and connected with animals and grew up with collies in the house. I am comfortable with big dogs, tiny dogs, cats, and anything in between. I have worked with elderly dogs and dogs with disabilities, and am able to administer medication. I have fostered abused dogs in the past, and watching them grow and gain confidence was extremely rewarding. If interested, please message me and we can set up a meet and greet to make sure things are a good fit. Thanks and I look forward to meeting you and your pet!
Reviews
Juliana is great! :)
We had a lot of changes with our booking come through and Juliana was great about being flexible with those changes. Thank you again for taking such good care of our pup!
Juliana was great with Rocco as always! We (and I’m sure Rocco) appreciate her spending time with him!
Really appreciated Juliana coming to meet our little guy before her visit as he can be shy with new people. He had a great first meeting with her and she did great with him during her drop in. Loved the pictures she sent! We will definitely be using Juliana again.
About Juliana L.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
For safety reasons, I strongly prefer waking one dog at a time, unless the dogs are from the same household. I always make sure to keep doors closed, and prefer working with harnesses rather than collars since they tend to be more secure. I will always ask about your dog’s level of agression with other dogs, and if there is a history I will not allow the dog to interact with other dogs while on walks.
Information Juliana L. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know about the dog's temperament and if they’re crate trained. I really don't have preferences in terms of breed. If the dog had a history of aggression against people I am not willing to work with your dog at this time, and I appreciate your honesty on this!
A typical day
I enjoy taking the dogs out for long city walks and walks in parks or by the lake. I sometimes will also go to an outdoor cafe with my dogs and order a coffee and enjoy the people (and dog) watching.
Services
Juliana can watch in your home
Availability
I am free any time between 9am-8pm for walks, Monday through Friday. I am free for house sitting any time, but generally would prefer that be scheduled at least two weeks in advance so I can plan accordingly.
