I was born into a family with a Rottweiler and have had all large dogs ever since including a Shepard mix and an American Bulldog. I've also cared for my sister's Pitbull mix over the years. But for the first time, I have what is considered a medium sized dog, however, she's small to me - my hound mix named, Nola! I rescued her at 11 weeks old on June 16th, 2022. I currently work from home full time and will have plenty of time to care for your pup! My job requires 1-2 clients to come into my home per day (unless I’m off) anywhere from 1.5-3 hours at a time - at which I always put my dog in a crate when they come in. When it comes to your dog, 1.) I would not make myself available to dog sit on a day that I have more than 1 client. 2.) You and I would have a discussion about this prior to booking and come up with a plan that you are most comfortable with. For example, my kitchen is gated, and if I was watching your dog on a day that I have a client, perhaps your dog could stay in my kitchen until my client leaves. My husband is also a dog lover and happy to help and play with your pup! My dog is very lucky to have me all to herself all day every day pretty much! She is only crated when I have a client, and at bed time she will sleep in the kitchen which is gated, or with me in bed on occasion. She doesn’t mind the kitchen though and never makes a peep until it’s time to go to the bathroom in the morning. She gets walked daily, played with, and tons of snuggles and pets, but she so badly wants a dog friend to run around with in our fenced in yard! She loves to play with other dogs that are at the same temperament level - which is super friendly and playful! I’m not ready for a second dog just yet, but would love to share the same care I give my dog with yours!
