Growing up I had a Beagle named Paco (he lived for 13 years) who I loved dearly. My favorite part was taking him on walks and to the park. My goal and hope is to get my own dog in the future! I've lived with a black Lab/Australian Shepherd mix for a year (roommates dog) and I took care of him several times when she was out of town. In addition, I would attend all of his walks in the morning, during lunch, after work (prior to grad school), and prior to bed. That being said, I really enjoy taking dogs on long walks. Also, I have experience dog sitting a handful of large breed dogs. While I dog sit, I make sure they get plenty of play time, walks, and attention. Whenever I dog sit, my goal is to make sure the dog gets plenty of exercise and lots of love.
