Before my family adopted our golden doodle, Max, I was always offering to dog sit for our all of the neighbors on our street when they would go on vacation. I have helped train and raise Max since he joined our family nearly 6 years ago, and within 2 years of moving out of their house I adopted a 2 year old boston terrier mix, Mickey. Having him in my life and being his sole caretaker has taught me so many things and thrown me into situations I never thought I would have to deal with during my first dog. Within 2 months of adopting Mickey, he became dog and people reactive and struggles with anxiety so we are constantly training and trying new things together to help him live a better quality of life. I recently worked for a year at a pet boarding and daycare facility which has also exposed me to working with many different dog breeds with various needs and personalities. Caring for dogs is the most rewarding way to spend my time when I’m not studying for college; I’m hoping to get to know your furry friends and tire them out a little while making life a bit easier and less stressful for you!
