Pet care experience
In 2017 I began pet sitting and house sitting for friends, family, neighbors and employers. It became a great way to share quality time with a pet! I love all animals, and have even looked after chickens, hedgehogs, and rabbits. I also had the opportunity to volunteer at a Wildlife Rehab center for injured birds for a summer season, which was a truly enriching experience. I love getting to know each animals unique personality, and making sure they feel loved and cared for by me while their owners are away. 🐾

I've scheduled with Juliana twice now, and she has truly done a phenomenal job in taking very good care of my senior black lab. She was very thorough in her Meet & Greet ... very communicative on behalf of each visit ... and very considerate in caring for my pet. She obviously loves animals, and it shows in each and every one of her visits!
Juliana is by far the best pet sitter around. For the last 5+ years she’s been the only one I’ve had at my house with my animals while I’m away. My dog recently passed but Juliana was so great with him. She loved him and treated him like her own family and he really loved her the same. Buddy would usually get pretty stressed out when I was away but with Juliana there he honestly didn’t seem to care if I was there or not. She truly gives off such a loving, comforting energy that animals absolutely respond to. When Buddy was in his later years Juliana would go above and beyond to help him outside and take the extra time to make sure he was comfortable. She is so kind, patient, and honest. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for help in this area!

First off, I always make sure to ask the owner to write a list of important things to know about their pets and their homes when I drop in or stay overnight to make pets feel safe and comfortable. Sticking to the daily routines that pets rely on to have all of their needs met. I’ll make sure your pets will have plenty of play time, and reward them for good behavior!

Please let me know if your pets require medicine mixed in with their food as I’ve done this for senior dogs and cats. I also find it helpful to know your pets general behavior when it comes to meeting new people, interacting with other pets, and overall health. I also make sure to have the contact information for the Veterinarian that you use, for peace of mind for all parties involved, in the rare case of emergencies.
A typical day
My go to activities with dogs, (depending on their age, senior dogs need slower play time) are safe playtime with toys, positive praise and rewards with treats for good behavior! As for cats, I like to know their safe spots in the home, their favorite toys or treats, and other specifics that the owner can inform me about them. I always provide photos of the pets as well!
