Around that time I had to put down my 17 year old pug. So honestly, I started doing rover (and wag among other apps) looking for some furry companions to help me through my grieving. Now I do this as a side hustle to help save up for a food truck and who doesn't love being welcomed through the door every time?! As for my experience, I've owned cats, gerbals, bunnies, and dogs. I've pet sit for the same and a few reptiles and even a couple birds. New to snakes and husbandry but am down for the opportunity to learn! Friends look to me to pet sit when they go on vacation all the time and I've dabbled in even training a few dogs and cats (although am not a professional trainer). I work Uber/Lyft so my schedule is pretty flexible and can make my schedule as needed to accommodate most requests! I tend to work heavy in the mornings and late evenings during the week leaving my afternoons open. And obviously I work pretty heavy on the weekends but never past midnight, nothing good happens after midnight! Of course am willing to work less to accommodate pet care needs.
