Natural love for animals

I have been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. My parents always had cats. When I left my parents' house, I also had two cats and gave them everything they needed. Love, affection and attention. The interaction with animals comes very naturally to me, and the animals notice that when they meet me. They can feel that I have nothing but love for them, that they can trust me, and that I want to make their lives as good as possible. I have also done 3 different house sits in Panama, each with a big dog for several weeks. Generally, I have a very empathic connection with cats and dogs. I am very active and would love to give your dog more active movement if required, like running, playing and just having fun.

Feeding the cats on a schedule helps them to trust that they have a stable home and health. I love giving them treats and if they do need some extra food here and there, I read them and make sure to provide for them. I ensure the temperature in the house is comfortable for them always. I always have fun toys for them to play with, and make sure to play with both cats when they need to be active daily. I find it best to create boundaries too for the cats so that they are not in harms way with any kitchenware, or cleaning agents that could potentially harm them. If there are any plants, or really anything friends and family bring over to the house, I check to make sure the cats aren't going to be harmed by them. All cleaning products in the house are harmless to the cats.

If they don't mind being touched, it takes time to warm up to people at times. It's important to know if they are good around children, other dogs or other people. It helps to know their walking style. Dogs need a kind human that allows room for their expression, but can also tell them no for them to be safe and secure. Dogs require rest, sometimes pushing a dog to finish a walk or a run is not the smart thing. Know what a dog's medical history is before being in care of the dog is very important, or even if the dog has any allergies.
A typical day
Besides taking a walk with the dog, I can go for a jog with him too when he/she is high energy. I love running. I would go to a nearby park and play ball or frisby. Whatever the dog likes to play, I will play with him/her to give the dog it’s daily activity. While walking the dog, I will let him/her smell out the surroundings. It's similar to them as reading newspaper for us.
