Always make sure they are on a leash when let outside. I do like to keep on eye on them if they are out just to make sure they don't get into anything

All I need to know ahead of time is if they are on medication I would need to administer and if they are not yet potty trained so I would know how frequently to take them out
A typical day
I love to take dogs on works to work their energy off possibly go to a dog park. I love to interact with them doing some sort of enrichment activities
