High drive dog? No problem!
Pet care experience
I grew up pet sitting and riding horses, and have had dogs since I was a child. I now own two working line German Shepherds, who I participate in a number of different sports with. I have experience from chill couch potato pets to high drive working dogs. Though I do have two dogs of my own, when your pet is in my care they'll experience one on one attention. Dogs must be comfortable with crating/kenneling, and they can be either crated or use a 4'x4' indoor kennel. Dogs will be kenneled overnight, as well as when unsupervised and on rotation with my personal dogs. Guest dogs will not be out together with my personal dogs at any time. Plenty of time lounging around the house is also available. I have a large yard with a privacy fence for your pet to enjoy.

Julia is super friendly and she did a fantastic job watching my dog. She gave him daily exercise and sent photos & videos to me regularly so that I could see how my boy was doing. I'm a bit of a helicopter dog dad and I'm very selective when choosing who to leave him with when I can't take him with me, and Julia passed with flying colors.

I have a 6' privacy fence to allow your pet to safely enjoy the yard. Your pet will see my dogs in the kennel room if being using one of the 4'x4' kennels, but will not have direct interaction. If they don’t do well with other dogs, they can be crated in a separate room in either an XL crate or you can bring one you prefer.

A typical day
My typical days involve play and training in the yard, as well as walks within the neighborhood. There are also trails nearby that can be hiked as well.

I work remotely one day a week, so my schedule that day is extra flexible for pet needs. My usual schedule is attention and breakfast before I begin work at 8, and then 2-3 breaks for potty and play during the day. After logging off from work, my whole evening is for the dogs. I am in the office 4 days a week, but give plenty of exercise and attention in the morning prior to leaving. I also return midday to allow for a break and more attention and exercise. And again, evenings are always for the dogs!
