I am an experienced, professional pet and house sitter who loves dogs and cats of all stripes. Whether your furry friend enjoys marathon couch cuddles or hours of fetch, I will joyfully spend time caring for them. Dogs and cats have been a part of my life since I was a small child. I grew up in a ranching community, and by second grade I was caring for my neighbors' ranch animals during their vacations. My family's beloved cats and Labradors were my best friends, and I am always looking for new doggies and kitties to love. I am available for long vacations, short trips, and daytime visits. I can provide walks, feeding, watering, and ample snuggles and play time. I have experience with senior dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, and animals experiencing medical emergencies. House and pet sitting is my primary income source, and as such I approach the care of my clients' homes and pets with professionalism and diligence. I am proud that my clients have confidence in me to keep their home and animals safe during their absences. I look forward to speaking with you about how I can care for your pet(s)!

Julia is all one could ever want in a pet sitter. She is incredibly caring and personable, easy to communicate with, and extremely professional. Julia cared for our 3 dogs for 4 nights. One of our elderly beauties unexpectedly got sick before our trip. We considered staying home, but Julia instilled a ton of confidence in managing the medication and special feeding schedule. She kept us updated the whole time, including sending pictures and videos every day. It was clear our dogs loved her, and we came home to a spotless house. I'm so happy we found Julia!

A typical day
House Sitting: I will spend days and nights at your house, going about my day as if your dog was my own. This includes walks, feeding, and snuggles. If your dog may be left on their own, I will come and go as if I were taking care of my own dogs. I work partly from home and partly in schools, so I can spend the majority of my day with your pet. I will arrive and leave at the same time on my first and last day, but that time is flexible. Walks: I will visit your dog and take them on a 30 minute walk around your neighborhood. I will ensure that they get plenty of sniffs! When I leave I will check to make sure they have water. Time of day may be specified as needed. Drop In Visits: [DUE TO COVID-19, I AM NOT CURRENTLY OFFERING DROP-IN VISITS.] I will visit your dog and spend 30 minutes playing or hanging out with them, whichever they prefer. We can lie on the floor, chase a ball, or play my personal favorite game, "Chase the Kibble." When I leave I will check to make sure they have water. Time of day may be specified as needed.
