Hello! I'm Julia! I'm the proud pet parent to my German Shepherd/Setter mix Duncan. And in the past I have had a lab/border collie mix (Zowie) as well as 3 cats (Heidi, Zoe, Milo). As a pet lover and owner, I understand how important it is to provide your pets with the utmost care and respect. I'm dedicated to providing your pet with the same level of love & attention I give my own. I enjoy staying active and keeping your dog moving as well or just chilling out with an older dog or indoor cat & keeping them company. As a sitter and as someone who has utilized Rover.com for my own pets, I understand the importance of respecting your time and space. I hope to meet you and your furry friends!

I've known Julia for nearly 30 years and she is, by far, one of the most mature, honest, trustworthy and responsible people I have ever met. I would trust her with my most valuable possessions and secrets. Her love for dogs is unmatched and unwavering. Julia is very intelligent and empathetic, so she understands that just like us, every animal is different. She takes the time to educate herself about any sort of issue her pets experience, and invests in training and dog day care to make sure her fur babies are well socialized. When I was a new dog owner, she helped me learn the ropes and I still use many of the tips she taught me back then to this day! She's the first one I call whenever I am having any sort of issue with my dog. You can leave your pet with Julia knowing she will treat them as her own - their health, safety, and good time will always be top priority.

As a dog walker or exercise buddy, it’s important for me to know the best tools to use for walking your dog. I look forward ti discussing your dog’s routine and care and implementing that in my daily visits. We can walk or play in a fence-secured back yard. I pick up dog waste as needed, clean, and re-fill water bowls. In addition, I send photos can bring packages into the home, or administer medications.

Please let me know your pet's favorite activities as well as anything that is a turn off for them (storms, other dogs, that one squirrel). Do you need medication administers? Treats? I am experienced in medications as well as insulin shots for cats.
A typical day
For dogs with a yard, we can play ball, Chuck-it, chase, gentle tug-o-war, or just sniff and do business. I am always ready to clean up after your pet and go the extra mile by washing out your pets dog bowls during my visits before re-fills.

Availability
With a little one returning to school, my weekdays are open 7:30am to 1:15pm. Dog walking gives me the opportunity to help people in my area, spend some time with dogs, and stay active.
