I have loved and had dogs since I was a kid. I have volunteered for the Basset Hound Rescue of SoCal for the past 10+ years in different positions, one being a foster parent. I have had dogs of many backgrounds/ages/temperaments staying with us in the past. We have a rescue 7 year old Basset Hound and some more love to give, so dog sitting is the perfect opportunity!

The absolute best. Took care of our pups while visiting town for the 4th of July. So accommodating and great with our fur babies.
Our dogs had a great time with Julia and her dog Copper. We had a ten day trip and our dogs seemed right at home with Julia’s family.
Julia and her family were AMAZING! I would highly recommend her to anyone. We were so happy our puppy was taken care of! It was a great experience!

I have a fenced small backyard, we have gate on the bottom of the stairs. I have an X pen and other gates to put in the house if your dog needs for safety and you choose so. Your dog will have roam of the house just like ours. We are open to crate and follow the routine you have/prefer. We go on daily walks, enjoy spending sometime outside. We have dog beds throughout the house for your pup to choose from. Your pup can sleep with us in the bedroom like our dog or anywhere in the house he chooses to. Being a dog mom and also relying on sitters on occasion, I understand how important it is to communicate with you, send pictures, follow your routine and preferences for peace of mind for you and your dog.

Please let me know any important must do's of your pup. Potty preferences, medicine, how many times to feed, favorite toy, level of energy etc. It would be great if you know how he/she usually does at someone else's home when you're away.
A typical day
We go to the park daily in the mornings and walks in the afternoons. We go to the dog beach often as well. Our day includes a lot of belly rubs and naps.

I'm a stay at home mom of a 3.5 year old boy (who's very good with dogs). Your dog will def be spoiled with plenty of human time, belly rubs and cuddles.
