Pet care experience
The services I'm currently offering are daily walks and doggy day-care. I've grown up with a dog in my family my entire life, caring for a sassy Shiba Inu for 15 years! I've also taken care of smaller dogs such as Chihuahuas, King Charles spaniels, as well as cats. I also used to regularly dog-sit for families in my community before moving away to college. I previously used to walk and board dogs through Rover in Philadelphia before moving to NYC this year. Dogs have always been such a source of joy in my life, and I want to provide that in return to any dog that needs caring for. I live in the Upper West Side with a work-from home job, giving me plenty of time to care for the dogs in my community. I'm comfortable with dogs of any breed, size, and age, and I follow directions very well. My only unavailabilities will be caused by changes in my work schedule. Your pet will always be taken care of by itself.

I’m so happy I found Julia to watch my two cats while I was out of town for a wedding weekend. She sent photo updates and I knew she cared about them and enjoyed her time with them! I can be a crazy cat lady about my cats, but I felt at ease as soon as I dropped them off with her. They definitely felt super comfortable and at home (this was actually the only time I had difficulty getting one of my cats in his carrier). I’m so grateful for her services and 100% plan on doing so again!
Julia has been helping to care for my dogs as long as I've had them. I have two very high energy pups (a husky mix and a shepherd/lab mix), and Julia has always taken great care of them. She is communicative, responsible, intuitive about their needs, and has been able to handle their feeding, exercising, and administering both topical and oral medication with ease. I never have to worry when leaving my dogs in Julia's care because I know they're being loved, snuggled, and cared for in the best way possible. As a lifelong dog lover and caregiver, Julia is the best sitter around!
