Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs my whole life. I've raised a litter of puppies, cared for a senior dog in her last years, and trained a rambunctious young dog with more energy than a freight train. Whatever stage of life your pet is in, and whatever personality they have, I'm ready and excited to meet and take care of them!

I strive to keep your dog’s routine consistent with the routine you've established to keep your dog comfortable. If your dog has a particular walk, potty, play, or eating schedule, I’ll ask for that information beforehand so I can incorporate it into my care routine. An important part of dog-sitting is providing companionship, and I always make sure the dog is well-loved and comfortable while his/her owner is away.

Is your dog on any medications? Does he/she have any special health or behavioral concerns? Are there any allergies (dog or human) that I should know about before I enter your home? If your dog is a puppy, have they received all their vaccinations?
A typical day
What dog doesn't love fetch? If your dog has a favorite toy or ball, I'll burn off some energy with them in the backyard with a little tug-of-war, keep-away, or fetch. In the cooler parts of the day, I'll take them on a walk of the neighborhood where they can get their daily bird-watching in. In the evening, I'll give them a puzzle toy with peanut butter (I'll check with you first of course), and give them a few belly-rubs.

Availability
I'm currently working from home, so I have some limited availability during the week. During a stay, providing your pet with care and companionship is my main focus, and I plan my routine during that time around his/her needs.
