I'm an experienced dog walker and pet sitter who has fostered fearful, reactive, injured, resource-guarding, and other "problem" dogs with the Seattle Humane Society since 2012. I'd love to work gently and slowly with your pup, using positive reinforcement. (Or I can just take them on a fun, low-key walk or visit if that's what you'd prefer!) Very safety-focused on walks and prepared for escape artists, leash pulling, and barking. I completely understand the need for in-home visits from strangers, especially with nervous, young, or people-aggressive dogs, and I've used a number of techniques with foster dogs that worked for me. Also totally happy to jump in to the training program you've already set up. Currently focusing less on hosting dogs in my home—want to be as available as possible for walks and drop-ins. Located in the center of the city (and equipped with a Subaru to complete the dog-lover stereotype).
