I had both cats and dogs all my life. I consider them valued family members and should be treated with kindness, love and respect deserving any family member. I currently own a 30 pound dog and he's my baby. I have a fenced yard but I like to take my dog to the beach and the park, weather permitting because animals, like people, enjoy different activities to prevent boredom. I don't believe in hitting or smacking any animal or any type of verbal abuse. I'm also experienced in new puppy training and have the patience and kindness to understand a puppies needs during a new and wonderful experience for them. I also enjoy cats and kittens but I cannot accept a cat into my home as my dog is not used to cats.
