My family has had rambunctious Labrador retrievers my entire life, so I’ve grown up having dogs around consistently. Because of this, I’ve grown into one of the biggest dog lovers you’ll ever meet; you might have even seen me waving at your dog from across the street, or begging to pet them. I’ve worked part time at a dog kennel and am now a grad student and TA, and love lending a hand with mushing teams when I have the time. Most of my free time is spent hanging out with floofs and taking care of them! I can do walks in the mornings before work, or in the evenings afterwards, and usually during the afternoon, too. I’m experienced in taking care of dogs ranging from puppers to seniors, with a range of different needs. I have worked with many breeds including German Shepherds, hounds, mixes, doodles, golden retrievers, Rottweilers, huskies, small breeds, etc. And despite being only 5’3”, I’m surprisingly good at handling large dogs who have a tendency to pull. I do have experience dog walking in -35°weather, so the cold doesn’t deter me, and love working on enforcing training with dogs, too!
