Pet care experience
I’ve been dog sitting for friends since 2015. Oreo was a rescue and came into my life in 2019 and that experience has been amazing thanks to doggy training classes.

Julia is awesome!! You’ll receive many cute picture updates of your fur baby (she’s an amazing photographer ?) during the stay. Julia is super easy going, friendly, reliable, and likable! Highly recommend her!!!!
Julia has always been such a great pet parent towards her own pet. She also helped me take care of my dog if I was away for a weekend. My dog would be so happy to see her and loved spending time with her. Julia is a very responsible individual and pet parent so I have no doubts she can handle anything that is thrown at her.
Julia beyond spoils not just her dog but my dogs also. She gives them love, treats, attention and toys. Julia is kind and patient with dogs and will go above and beyond when taking care of them.
Julia took WONDERFUL care of our sweet, older dog, Bear. She met him where is was--some days, he felt like long walks and adventures, while on other days, he felt like snuggling on the couch. She has always been timely in her communication, sending frequent pictures and updates while we were away. Bear LOVES getting to hang with Julia, and we feel so happy that she's looking after our guy!

I have a sweet pup named Oreo who gets along well with all pups and is amazing at sharing toys and attention. I have a minimalist decorating concept for an enormous play area living room. Dogs are allowed on furniture and love practicing tricks and training as Oreo grows beyond the basic commands. As a native NYC lady I enjoy walking about 3 miles a day.

A typical day
Oreo likes to start our long walks in whatever direction calls his name. We walk for about 25 mins before heading back home in order to get many sniffs in. Once a week we go to the dog park for a bit but after some zoomies Oreo is ready to go home and will let me know by walking himself to the gate.

I’m a former kindergarten teacher with CCSD; I work from home and currently am available for visits and walks. I go on two daily walks with my sociable 5yo dog but don't mind walking extra and getting in more steps.
