Pet care experience
Ever since I was a little girl I have had my own pets, dogs and cats included. I currently have my own 2 cats at my apartment, and two Tibetan terriers and a cat that I grew up with at my parents house. I graduated college with a bachelors in Therapeutic Horsemanship and a concentration in Canine. I will do my best to be accommodating and work with what you and your pets need. I treat all animals like they are my own. Like a part of my family. I am good with feeding schedules and any other medications or schedules needed to take care of your pets. I hope you will let me take care of your animals, and they will be in good hands if you do.

Julia did a fabulous job looking after my two sweet dogs. The dogs adore her! She stayed for four nights at my house, and everything was left in order. Julia was really great about sending photos with check-ins at the start and end of each day. It made my time away worry free. She is a gem! I have already booked another stay.
Julia was SUCH a god send. Respectful, responsive, and completely trustworthy. Julia watched our cat for us for a few days. Communication was consistent and we got a bunch of pictures of our fur baby. It is so hard to find someone you can trust now a day. Thank you so so so much!!

I will always keep a close eye on the animals being watched. I try my best to be careful with food and anything else dangerous to the animals I will watch. I also am good at working with dogs that are still being trained. That being said please always tell me if there is something specific I need to watch for or work with for your animals.
Information Julia N. would like to know about your pet
I do not have any breed prefences. There are only a few things I would like to know before dog sitting or walking. I would like to know the temperament of the dog, i.e. any behavioral problems for example aggresiveness to other dogs if on walks, if not house-trained. Also if there are any health problems, i.e. joint problems, bladder problems, blindness, etc. As knowing these will help me care for your pets better.
A typical day
There are many places I can take dogs on walks, there is the trails near where I live, I also live where I can walk them around my property, I can play fetch with them, tug-a-war, and almost anything else the dog or the owner would like me to do. I also can take them out anywhere near where you live!

Availability
I am a full time Therapeutic Riding Instructor in Egremont MA. Monday is 8 to 630. Tuesday is 930 to 1230 (not always). Wednesday is 8 to 6. Thursday I work for 2 hours any time. Friday is 8 to 6. And Saturday is 8 to 4. Sunday is 2 hours in the morning and 4 to 6. With that being said, I am only available to take dogs that can last a work day without being watched or walked. When I am at your house I will treat your pets like my own. I am responsible and timely, I will walk your dog(s) and take care of your animals as soon as I get there. With Cats I can do whatever is best for the cat with that either being house sitting or drop ins.
