Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Julia, I am a second-year law student at UHLC. I'm originally from Oklahoma, though I plan on practicing law in Texas. I'm here on Rover to make a little extra money while I'm in school! I have a ~6 yr old "Schnese" (mini Schnauzer mix Havanese) and ~3 yr old short-haired tuxedo cat. Both are low energy and friendly. In the past, I've had dog-sitting experience through family and friends; I've volunteered often at animals shelters working with both cats and dogs; and I've even owned rabbits as pets before!

Julia has taken care of my two pets, a cat and a dog, on several occasions while I was out of town. They both loved her, as she played with both, walked my dog, and cuddled my cat. I can always rely on her to go above and beyond caring for them, and I feel they are safe with her.
Julia is the biggest animal lover that I know! She treats your dog with genuine respect and goes out of her way to make sure your fur baby is healthy/comfortable. I would 100% trust her to take care of my pup again!

My apartment complex is very pet friendly. If you have a dog, the potty station is right next to my building, which has been very convenient for taking my own dog out. There's also a dog park about a 10-min walk from where I live! As for cats, both my dog and cat are good with other animals. They both have lower energy and would do well coexisting alongside another pet in the home.

I would like to know if they will do well with other dogs and cats, since I have my own dog and cat in the home. Potty trained is a must as well since I am renting.
A typical day
There's a dog park about a 10-min walk from my apartment; on weekends I take my dog and walk around the surrounding neighborhoods and stop at the dog park. My unit also has a large patio, where I like to give my own pets "patio time" as they watch the street life go by.

Availability
I'm typically free on the weekends, and work remotely on Wednesdays. I'm a homebody, so this allows me all the time in the day to tend to your pets and mine as I study and read for law school.
