I grew up in a large Italian household where we were raised knowing our pets were always more than pets. As someone who has been around animals and cared for them her whole life, I understand your pet is your first priority. Leaving them with someone new can be scary, but they’ll always feel right at home with me. I am happy to send pictures and videos as well, so you never feel out of touch with your loved one. I’ve cared for pets of all ages, from kittens & puppies to seniors. Much like animals, I enjoy long walks and occasional naps on the couch with a furry friend. I have a bleeding heart with animals and I hope you’ll see that your pets are in good hands with me. My partner works from home during the week and we are both home and available on the weekends.

Julia went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable leaving my dog for an unexpected trip. She provided extra loving care and sent updates along with pictures! Her loving and bubbly personality immediately made us feel right at home. She made sure to include plenty of play time and fun exercise so our dog had a vacation, too!
I can’t thank Julia enough for the level of dedication she has for making my pup feel right at home! I was a little nervous to leave my dog, Lola, with someone new. During our meet and greet, Lola clicked with Julia right away. You can tell how much she truly loves animals and I knew I made the right choice. You won’t be disappointed with Julia and as long as she’s available, she will be my go to. My favorite part was getting loads of pictures and videos while I was away!

I have a large 2 BR apartment with a closed in balcony, where after our walks your furry friend could sunbathe and hang outside if they wanted. The second spare bedroom is spacious and can be used for crating and beds if needed. Pets are welcomed in all areas of my home. I want to create a space that feels like a home away from home. I’m flexible for home visits so you can see the space yourself. We have no fur babies at the moment so all your pets will be welcomed and loved with open arms! We are able to provide at length walks, snuggles, scheduled feeding times, and maintaining routines for your convenience. I have been learning to make homemade dog treats as well. If allowed, they’ll be opportunities for endless treats at their convenience.

In order to best prepare for your stay, I’ll want to know any schedule/ routines, eating/ bathroom schedules, and any behaviors I should be aware of. If your friend needs to kept away from other animals I am willing to do so. I understand every pet is unique so any information that could best help me care for them is welcomed!
A typical day
When it comes to hanging out with your furry friend, I will tailor my days to their preferences. I’m very flexible. I would love to do long walks and hikes & playing fetch or tug of war. However, if your friend is lower energy I’m happy to do walks that they guide and tell me what’s enough, lots of snuggles, and playing how they want to. I think it’s important to recognize every dog’s needs and interests vary and I will make sure those are met when they’re with me.
