Hello, my name is Julia, and I'm a pet sitter, walker, and your fur babies' new best friend! I live in Forest Park with my wife and 5 adorable cats. I've been responsible, cared for, and loved animals for over 10 years. On the weekends I feed and check on a stray cat colony in Maywood. Many years ago I fostered for Small Chance Rescue, a rescue home for small dogs based in Austin, Texas, which was such a rewarding experience. In general, I have experience pet sitting for both dogs and cats, as well as dog walking. I enjoy the outdoors and would love to get active with your dog. I look forward to meeting your fur family!

Julia was terrific with our two kitties. They had lots of company, and they got to hang out on the porch which they love. She sent great photos and took good care of the house and plants as well. I highly recommend her.
Julia has been a wonderful animal sitter over the years for us. We have an older dog, a cat and doves in an aviary. Julia is responsible and nurturing. My favorite part is when Julia take photos of our pets and emails them to us when we are out of town. As if our little creatures are calling us themselves! It's nice to go on vacation and know our little ones are in good hands!

For pet sitting, I would feed your pets as directed and make sure they get all the attention and playtime they need. If you have cats, I would regularly clean their boxes as directed. For your dogs, I would be sure they get regular outside bathroom breaks and supervise them in your yard while I am there. I can do casual neighborhood walks for dog walking, take them to the dog park for socializing, or provide a more active experience at a local trail. Whatever your pet's needs are, I am happy to accommodate them. I can also cover other house-sitting needs like watering plants or taking packages inside. Lastly, I love to provide updates to my clients with cute videos and pictures to ensure peace of mind.
A typical day
I feel like each dog has their own style, as is their routine. I will always consult with you about their daily habits so they feel as though you've never left. Whether its running out your German Shepard's energy at the park or just watching Netflix while giving belly rubs to your Dachshund, I'm happy to do whatever makes you and your fur baby most comfortable.

Availability
I work from home full time, so I am available for pet sitting and dog walking after 5 pm during weekdays, and I have open availability on the weekends. I can also work from your home and spend the day with your furry friend, given that you have reliable internet.
