Growing up with 2-3 dogs at all times sparked my love of dogs and taught me how to train and take care of dogs of various size and multiple dogs at a time. One of the first things I did when I moved to Austin was get trained to volunteer at the local humane society, walking and looking after high risk dogs in need of a little TLC every week 🤍

I booked Julia for 2 services. On both days she did not let me know when she arrived to my house or when she left. No messages about how things were going. She only filled out the rover card for 1 service. On one of the services, I booked her for a day to house sit while I went into the office. She was at my house for 6 hours and only walked my dog once. I told her on our meet and greet that my dog was very high energy and that’s why I needed her. On the next day, I booked her for an hour drop in and she was only there for 30 min (per the rover card). I wanted to look on the bright side of these services and left a positive review before my first service started. She was great at communicating before the services began. But after experiencing my full round of services, I wanted to leave an honest review. If you are okay with a sitter that is in your home not communicating with you, interacting with your dog minimally, and you have a low energy dog that does not require much, Julia would be a good fit for you.
It’s such a relief to have Julia to dog sit and to drop in to check on my pup when needed. She is a very open communicator, flexible, and reliable. I will definitely be booking with her again!

Julia was fantastic!! It was our first time going out of town since we adopted our dog so I was a little nervous about leaving him but I quickly realized I had nothing to worry about and Julia was the perfect choice to watch our sweet boy. She even remembered to give him an extra treat on his birthday! We have a young, high energy Akita and she took the time to play with him and give him love and followed his care routine perfectly. We will definitely be using her again! Thank you Julia!

Working from home during the week provides me the flexibility to make your dogs a priority at all hours of the day! Does your dog need multiple walks a day? Not a problem! I’m also a very active person so more walks means more steps for me too!
