Safety is my priority, fenced yard
Pet care experience
I have substantial experience with high energy dogs who are also very strong. This lends itself well to taking care of dogs of all different sizes and personalities. My dedication to keep them safe, exercised, and content is unparalleled. I also have experience with dogs who have special needs, e.g., deaf. My priority with any dog is their wellbeing. I focus on their safety, comfort, and individual needs. My physically active lifestyle is in line with my profession as an Exercise Scientist. If fitting to your dogs needs and lifestyle, they can join me on daily walks, hikes, runs, and even bike rides (with a safe attachment). I also enjoy throwing tennis balls (or their ball of choice) in my large fenced in backyard. In short, I will ensure that your dog has everything they need from routine meals and physical activity to belly rubs and their favorite toy. ***Please see my section regarding what I would like to know about your dog before sitting for him or her***
Reviews
Julia took such good care of our Quince for 2 weeks while we were on a cruise. We came home to a happy , healthy, calm dog. Julia sent us plenty of updates and pictures while we were away and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who needs a home away from home for their dog!
Julia was wonderful! I would highly recommend her. She watched our 1 1/2 year old lab Cooper for a whole week while we were on vacation. She takes a great deal of interest in knowing everything about your dog right from the beginning She kept Cooper well exercised and provided lots of play time. Cooper got along great with her dogs. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that he was in good hands and getting lots of love!! Will definitely be a regular client.
Julie was amazing! From the beginning she was great. She responded quickly to my request and set up a meet and greet for the next day. When Ichabod and I came over for the meet and greet, Julia was extremely welcoming and her dogs were wonderful. She asked questions about Ichabod's routine and answered any questions I had for her. While I was away for the weekend, Julie sent me updates and pictures of Ichabod throughout the day. She was also extremely flexible with the pickup time when my return flight was delayed. I would recommend Julia to anyone looking for a dog sitter. Ichabod come home to me well taken care of and happy.
I used to bring Pongo to the same sitter for a year. Unfortunately I moved out of the state. I was so skeptical to find a new sitter because one big reason... Pongo is deaf. I found Julia and she has a deaf dog! They both are Dalmatian and have same name!
