Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Julia and I'm a Duke Grad (2014). I just moved back to the Durham area with my boyfriend who is attending Duke's Public Policy school. I am saving up to get a pup of my own! In the meantime, I'm excited about dog walking and dog sitting for you! I have grown up with dogs from shelters, who all come with their own anxieties and special needs. I have a lot of patience and experience with dogs who need a lot of attention and positive reinforcement. I am home all day and live 2 blocks away from Duke's East Campus where I frequently walk. I am also down the trail from Ellerby Dog Park. I have a large fenced in yard. I can't wait to meet you and your pup(s)!

Julia has grown up having dogs and loves dogs. She is very responsible and reliable. You can depend on her to take great care of your dog while you are away!
My dogs don't like anyone and they LOVE Julia! They are skiddish by nature and she took the time to interact with them one on one and gave them the attention they needed to feel comfortable. Now they always want her to rub their bellies. She treats every dog like they're part of the family and isn't afraid to help troubled dogs. I'd trust her with my family's dogs any time!
