I grew up on a pear farm, and there were a minimum of three dogs living with us at any given time. I learned so much about responsibility and the bond between humans and animals. I got my first puppy from an ad in the newspaper when I was nine; my little rottweiler, Annie, was totally a member of the family. For the last three years, I've lived in Portland, Oregon, and watched many of my friends' dogs while they're out of town. It's great to hang out at home together or go on an adventure! My favorite furry friend to watch, Little Bear, is a 14 pound mini Labradoodle who totally thought she was a human! Having recently moved to Marin, I have some free time while looking for jobs in local government. I would totally have a dog (or two) of my own, my my lease does not allow it. I would love to explore trails, dog parks, and the beauty this area has to offer!
