Pet care experience
I've had dogs for 24 years. I have experience with tons of sizes and temperaments, ranging from energetic labs and retrievers to a 175lb Great Dane that was aggressive with strangers. I have experience with an obsessive Shepherd, as well as a very high anxiety turned aggression Malinois mix, an aggressive Miniature Pinscher, countless pit bulls, and many others. I've cared for very elderly dogs that needed regular medication, as well as puppies that need constant attention and stimulation. I have had cats for over 10 years, and I have cared for fish, birds, and reptiles as well. I've cared for a diabetic cat for 10+ years so I know how to give insulin injections and have a good understanding for behaviors and mannerisms to be concerned about.

Grooming, playing, feeding, and cleaning up after your pet are all tasks I can offer, just shoot me a message and we can discuss. I am also open to meeting and discussing any "problem pets," such as young, skittish, untrained, aggressive or very large breeds; I fear no beast! I would love to get to know how I can help keep your animals happy and enriched!

A typical day
I am open to playing your pets favorite games with them, be it ball, tug of war, or even just running around. For walks, I like to start with areas pets are comfortable with until we start to get a better understanding of each other but then I like to provide enrichment for adventurous pets by exploring new areas and parks.

Julia can watch in your home
Availability
On days that I work evenings, morning into lunchtime is best for me, but other days I can come any time. I can stop by early morning to early afternoon, even later at night if you need a sitter. If you contact me a few weeks ahead of time, we can try to work out a better schedule for both me, your pet, and yourself. I cannot board at my place because I have an old, naive cat who doesn't know when to leave well enough alone, but I can visit your home to care for your pet.
