Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs and cats of various sizes, ages, and personalities for my whole life, from the dogs my family owned growing up to friends, roommates and neighbors' pets. I have done regular dog walking, cat sitting, and overnight care, I was a live-in dog and house sitter over two summers for a high-energy German Shepherd, and I helped out with dog care and training for several families I have nannied or babysat for. Through these experiences I have cared for outgoing and shy pets, puppies in need of training and handicapped or elderly pets with special walking and dietary needs. I am very patient and intuitive with animals and love getting to know their unique personalities!

Julia has been a great help taking care of our high-energy pup, Leah. They’ve gone on lots of long walks, played tug, and worked on teaching Leah not to jump on people in excitement. Julia also helped out with my parent’s high maintenance German Shepherd and has lots of other experience with dogs of all kinds. She is caring and communicative and would be a great choice to care for your dog!

I love to walk and explore parks with energetic pups - and to provide comfort and intellectual stimulation to all animals at home. Sometimes that means reading a book while they warm up to my presence and sometimes that means jumping straight into energetic play!
