Pet care experience
Starting in elementary school, I was the neighborhood caretaker for many cats and dogs. My parents and I also had a sweet golden retriever mix for 14 years. Now my partner and I have a fun and energetic pit mix. I've also worked at multiple environmental education centers with raptors and reptiles. I love going on long walks, giving cuddles, or just hanging out with animals. I think they're all so precious, from the most skittish cat to the most boisterous dog, and I'm happy to adjust how I interact with them to whatever they need most. I have experience dealing with separation anxiety and reactivity as well, so I am comfortable working with any pet who may have these or any other unique needs.

Julia took the most amazing care of my two pups! They are extremely senior (16 yrs) and require patient and attentive care for their many health needs. Julia was very communicative and I was able to leave town so relieved and reassured that they were in great hands! Everything was clean and they were in great spirits when I got back. A typical day
I love to explore neighborhoods, go to parks, hiking trails, and play lots of games like fetch! For lower energy activities, I am a hug fan of cuddles! I will happily try out any new activities based on your preferences and your pet's needs.

During the schoolyear I am a grad student and I do have to be on grounds for at least several hours most days, but I still have chunks of available time, especially in the mornings and evenings.
