Pet care experience
I've been dog-sitting since I was in my teens and it is my favorite side hustle. I enjoy being active and am happy to take my dog buddies on 4-5 mile walks if they need a lot of exercise. I have experience with smaller breeds such as dachshunds, and frequently sit for larger breeds such as pitties/pit mixes, boxers, Newfoundland mixes, etc. I'm very comfortable with multiple dogs/pets in one house and reinforcing training. When I am pet-sitting, I consider it part of my responsibility to clean up after them in the yard. I'm in medical school now so that dictates a lot of my schedule, but if the location works I am happy to stay overnight with pets and commute from the house so I can spend more time with them. If you have a pet that is used to a lot of human noises, I'm happy to oblige since I am known to think out loud ;)

Julia is very conscientious as well as having genuine feelings for dogs. She has grown up around dogs and other animals so is attuned to their needs. I found her to be considerate toward my home.
Julia has always been very responsible with her own pets and those of other people. Aside from feeding, watering, and walking your dog in the way that you would like, she always makes sure to spend quality time with the dog and to not leave them alone for too long. She is also very good at using whatever behavioral practices you normally use with your pup. If there are any questions or problems, she will make sure to contact you right away and will be quick to contact you when you need to get ahold of her.
I have known Julia for years and my dogs dont respond to anyone else quite the same way. She has the magic touch with both my big 80lb baby and my small 15lb baby. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my kiddos.

I'd like to know if the dog has any special needs, or a history that makes it nervous/unpredictable and how to best manage that. If the dog has a strict routine, I'd want to know that up front so I can answer honestly if I'm the right sitter. I grew up with medium/large dogs, mostly pit mixes, and am comfortable with all the varied dogs I have worked with so far.
A typical day
If there is a park or nice walking path nearby, I like to walk the dogs there. Preferentially further away from car traffic. If they are good with other dogs, I'm happy to take them to a dog park. I am also an expert fetch and tug partner. Using the dog's food/treats, I also like to practice some etiquette basics, such as "sit", "stay", etc. at home and on walks.
