Pet care experience
I have a rescue puppy of my own and this summer I watched various dogs for my family with different energy levels. I am comfortable giving medicine. I am also willing to bathe and brush them too :) I’ve watched cats multiple times as well. I am currently working at a doggy daycare so I have been around and cared for a wide variety of ages, breeds, and energy levels. I also have lots of experience with horses and cats, I have worked on a horse farm and I have fostered a kitten. I am in the vet tech program at Michigan State University! I don’t discriminate breed, age, size or disability!

Julia did a great job taking care of my dog and cat while I was out of town. It was great to get the updates and photos.

I can stay with your pet for longer periods of time if you’d like or I can crate when I’m gone. Whatever you are comfortable with when it comes to your pets safety is what I will do.

I was sign language major, I can watch deaf dogs and I watched elderly dogs a lot. I specialised in reactive dogs when I was apprenticing with the dog trainer this past summer. Since I’m in the vet tech program I watch a lot of dogs with disabilities. I just need to know their things that make them comfortable and happy!
A typical day
I’d do all the things I do with my dog! Walks, runs, tug, and fetch! Point me to the shampoo and conditioner and I can give them a bath! If they like brushes and belly rubs I’ll do that too :)

I am flexible with scheduling especially since some of my classes are asynchronous, I have a jobs but I am able to sign up for work whenever I want to effectively to make time for pets.
