Pet care experience
Prior to becoming an RN, I was a home health aide for a couple years - I cared for both people and their animals when it was too much for them! I was a nanny and dogs are sometimes more work than the kiddos! I’ve also dogsat for friends, family, and neighbors! Additionally, I’ve had dogs my entire life. In the past few years I have been the primary dog walker, feeder, finding them someone to watch them when I’m working - so I know how hard it can be to find trusted sources to petsit!

Julia cares greatly about the pets that she is responsible for. She takes great care of my furbaby and is very responsible and communicative. As she has dogs and experience of her own, she is well-versed in all the needs and care of animals.
Julia is the first call when looking for someone to watch my puppy (Bodhi). She is loving, fun, and responsible. Whether it’s going out for a walk or long weekend pet sitting, Bodhi adores spending time with Julia and I’ve never had moment of worry while he is in her care.
For context, Julia Koenig is my girlfriend of nearly 2 years. When she came into my life, my dog Winnie was entering the end of her own. Winnie was a yellow lab who loved people and always greeted everyone when they came in, but she had a special affinity for Julia. Julia took great care of Winnie during her last year with us, and it was a huge indicator that she was someone I wanted to not only pursue a relationship with, but hopefully own a dog of our own some day. Julia has two of her own dogs now with her family that she treats as if they were her children, and is an exemplary pet owner and caretaker. Anyone who would allow Julia to have the privilege of taking care of their pet would be in the best hands.

I love to walk on the beaches, in the woods, and at the parks. I love anywhere that they can excite their sense of smell, and be exposed to new beautiful sites!

Availability
I work locally at Boston Children’s Hosptial, so my schedule is every other weekend but otherwise inconsistent. I only work 3 days a week, so I have an open schedule for random days that someone with a M-F job would not be able to cover!
