Hi! My name is Julia and I love dogs! I grew up with small dogs, but as an adult, I realized that the big mutts are really more my "type." I've been fostering with local rescues since 2017 and have worked with all types of breeds, sizes, ages, and behaviors. Because I don't have a dog of my own, I tend to take the "tougher" pups, but that doesn't mean I've lost my taste for the "easier" ones either. The fostering life has ups and downs, but I'm always up for some more low-key visits or pups that already have loving families (those foster pups always try to get me to keep them as my own forever!). While living in South Carolina, I was a part of a program called "Lucky Dog" that prepared shelter dogs for the domestic life. I house-trained, kennel-trained, and socialized about a dozen dogs over a 9 month span. If you think your furry friend and I would get along, please reach out!
