Hello! I'm Julia :-) I'm excited to get to know you and your fur babies. I'm a laid back animal lover of all shapes and sizes, with a background in veterinary medicine. I studied Pre-Veterinary Medicine at University of Maine Orono where I earned my degree, and was a veterinary technician during and after college. I have worked day practice veterinary medicine and also emergency. Therefore, any pets with special needs or medical needs, I'm your girl. I will make sure they are always safe and comfortable! I love being outdoors, going for hikes & exploring, and I'd love to bring your dog along. I do have two dogs of my own, Molto who is a terrier mix & Daphne who is a dauchsund mix. They are both dog friendly and enjoy company of other friendly, laid back dogs. I currently work per diem at the emergency hospital in Portland, and work full time for IDEXX, from the comfort of my own home. Therefore, any dogs who come for a stay with me will be supervised throughout the entire day. I'm very lax with my dogs, as they are allowed on furniture & sleep on my bed. But I will honor any house rules you may have.
