Pet care experience
My name is Julia Hogan and I am a recently graduated college student from the University of South Carolina. After I graduated, I moved up to Spartanburg to be closer to my family. In college I studied marine science and worked at a pet store. Through my job, I've learned tons about caring for all sorts of animals, but I have a particular love for dogs. My own dog, Cricket, can tell you that I'm great at taking care of our furry friends. I also love cats and I have two of my own! I am used to handling high-stress pets, such as animals with medical issues. I used to foster rescue kittens and I love the work! While I was in Columbia, I also ran my own dog-walking business. There's nothing better than enjoying some time with animals—any and all! Let me show your fur-family the love and affection I show my own!

When I think of Julia, the first thing that pops into my head is her many animals! She is a lover of all creatures, and really knows how to take care of them.
There is nobody better to care for your pet than Julia. She is a responsible and loving pet owner herself, and has experience working in a pet store so she's extremely knowledgeable about animals and their care. Two paws up.
As Julia's old college roommate I can happily attest that she is fantastic with animals, dogs especially. Many of our neighbors had dogs and Julia knew all of their names by heart and frequently would stop on our walks home to pet the dogs walking past and talk with the owners. She would make an excellent dog walker/ sitter!
Julia is the best with dogs! Both my dogs love her and get excited every time they see her. 10/10 would recommend. Super nice and good with people as well.

Is your dog dog-aggressive, or food aggressive? Are there any illnesses/allergies/behaviors I should be aware of? While in my home, your pet will have their own room upstairs. I will visit with them for several hours every day. Do your pets like to be read to? Mine do! I can also provide pictures and video chats for pet parents. My pets will be kept separate, but we can all play together if willing!
A typical day
Walks will take place on neighborhood streets close to where the doggy parents reside. We will stay away from traffic and busy streets, but enjoy sniffing for squirrels, birds, and of course, the neighborhood cats! If the doggy parents have a back yard, we can enjoy a game of frisbee or fetch.
