Pet care experience
I've been taking care of animals since the age of six when I got my first dog. From walking, feeding, grooming I enjoy the company of animals. I recently fostered a "hospice" dog and cared for him until his last days. I have experience with basic training( sit, stay, lie down,) and leash walking. I am observant and take immediate action when something is off with an animal.

I have a fenced in yard and drinking fountain so pets have fresh water. I am usually home most of the day, so am available to let dogs out as needed. I also am an early riser and enjoy spending time outside with animals. I find that we settle into a routine that works best for myself and the pet I am caring for. Each one is so different, it is fun to see their personalities come out as we get to know each other.

A typical day
I have a large backyard that we can play in. I also live near a park and love to take long walks to explore the neighborhood. I enjoy walks where we keep a steady pace, but also allow time for potty breaks and off trail exploration.

I am working part-time and have a flexible schedule. Daytimes work best for me, although I have evening availability for overnight house guests, either in my home or yours.
