Pet care experience
I have 5 years of dog rescue and fostering experience, and close to 15 years experience as a dog owner and caretaker. I have cared for dogs of all breeds and mixes, from newborn puppies to seniors. In my experience as a foster mama I have cared for puppies, seniors, reactive dogs, dogs with behavioral issues and separation anxiety, neonatal pups, nursing moms, hospice dogs, and more. I've worked with and rehabilitated many shelter dogs that had no other options and often times came with a lot of trauma and anxiety. I have a pack of my own that consists of 5 of the best and friendliest dogs who create an environment for even the most anxious of dogs to thrive. As a dog mom who works entirely from home, my goal is to create a fun, safe, and structured environment for your pup where they have constant supervision and lots of stimulating activities throughout the day. My home is my dogs' home - my pups and all sleepover/doggy daycare guests are allowed on all of the furniture (they practically own the couch). My dogs are all very well trained and do not have reactivity issues with each other or any new dogs. They are used to new dogs coming in and out and they provide great stimulation for energetic dogs who want friends to hang out with during the day. I have experience with dogs of all behavior types and have a separate room in my house that I call "the dog room" where I can separate any of my clients pups from the rest during food and treat time if needed. I have a lot of flexibility in what I am able to provide for a dog given my experience with many special needs shelter dogs and the layout of my home being very pet-oriented. If you have specific questions or needs, please don't hesitate to reach out. I am experienced with a lot of different dogs with a variety of needs. I also have a big yard with a 7-foot privacy fence for the pups to play in :)

Julie and her dogs made Daisy feel right at home. Not one issue with separation anxiety! I’d trust Daisy with her any day.
Julia was amazing! This was our first time leaving our fur baby with someone who wasn't family, and she was so reassuring every step of the way. She made sure he was comfortable with all her pups and bonded with her. She sent us tons of photos to reassure our overprotective hearts. Whenever we travel again, we'll definitely send him back to her!
Julia was amazing! She sent updates as well as pictures of how our dog milo was doing . She let us know while he was there how he was overall. I would recommend Julia if your looking for someone she treats everyone the same and loves your pets like her own.
I met Julia when she posted one of her foster dogs Chloe on Next-door. We arrange for her to come over to our house with Chloe to see if our dog Lailah will be ok if we adopt Chloe. Julia saved Chloe from the San Antonio shelter, along with countless dogs that she has fostered to save them from being euthanized. When Julia saved Chloe, she did not know that Chloe was very pregnant. In about a week that she had her, Chloe gave birth to a litter of 12. When Chloe was done nursing her puppies, Julia did her due diligence to Chloe find a good home as well as the rest of her pups. These puppies were move around by the shelter, taking them away from Julia's care, only to put them in a hoarders home. Julia did all she could to get these puppies back to give them proper care. I personally helped Julia pick up these puppies from dire conditions at a hoarders home in San Antonio at 9PM that day. One of them was near death because he contracted Parvo from that desolate place. Julia monitored this pup, gave him hydration and medication every 2 hours for 2 weeks. She was determined to save this dog. His name is Tuco. I eventually offered to adopt him so he can be with his mom. This is just one of the many thing Julia has done to save these animals. As far as loving dogs, she is legit. As a person, she is trustworthy, compassionate and dependable. I trust her with my 3 dogs every time I travel. My dogs goes nuts when they know we are going to see her and her pack. You will be very lucky to have her on your team. I could not emphasize that enough. Respectfully, Martha

Availability
I work entirely from home and let my dogs out 3-6 times a day. I take breaks from my work to play with my dogs and give them treats. I am usually working on my couch surrounded by my dogs or at my desk with my dogs around my feet :) If you choose to board your dog with me they will not be left alone for more than 1-2 hours throughout the week for errands/appointments. My job is done completely virtually and I can always step away for the pups!
