I have been caring for pets since I was 10 years old. Recently I dog sat 3 times this summer. I have stayed at homes for weeks watching dogs and caring for multiple at a time. I have always had glowing reviews.

I live in an apartment and can care for dogs here for short periods of time. My roommate does have a cat allergy, therefore I can't keep cats here overnight. I would make sure to keep the dog comfortable and to keep a very close eye on them and their behavior since they are not used to their environment. At another person's home, I am very careful to follow their specific house rules. I make sure to keep dogs leashed and listen to the owner's instructions since all dogs are different when it comes to making friends and staying close by.

Before watching a dog I would love to know any specific instructions. I have watched a dog that was both blind and deaf and it was very helpful knowing how to get his attention. It is important to know if dogs are on medications and how to administer them. I also like to know if dogs are friendly with other dogs and if they allowed any treats!
A typical day
I like to take dogs on hikes, to the beach, play fetch, and any other games they enjoy. I have taken dogs to the river in the past, if the owners are ok with water I don’t mind!

I am currently working part-time. I am a student and need flexibility around my school schedule. I am free most weekends but on weekdays there are certain times I can work.
