Pet care experience
My family has always had pets, I’ve worked at multiple vet hospitals, as well as a kennel, multiple farms and an animal shelter. I will be attending vet school next fall so I have extensive animal knowledge. I am a student which means I have many breaks in between classes to do check ins and I’m free most weekends to do any overnight sitting! I prefer gentle interactions with animals meaning I do not over correct bad behaviors with physical reinforcement. I use positive techniques that teach your pet.

Happy pups when we returned home
Julia is a kind, caring, and ethical animal caregiver. Julia recently watched our pet-family member during a vacation. I have known Julia for three years and have learned from our interactions that she loves dogs and understands how to manage them in many settings.

Information Julia G. would like to know about your pet
Ahead of time, I’d like to know how reactive your dog is to other dogs, cats, and other animals such as squirrels, birds, etc. This is important because I will tailor where I bring your dog according to their reactivity. If your dog is completely fine and happy with other dogs, id have no problem walking your dog in a park or city. If your dog is severely dog aggressive, I will do my best to walk your dog away from where other dogs might be.
A typical day
I prefer to walk dogs in as natural places as possible (parks, forests, near water, etc.). I do this because it’s very good for the dogs mental health and they have more space to be a dog. They love to smell the bushes and explore natural areas!
