Pet care experience
I am located in San Francisco and would love to help with overnight dog sitting at the owner's house and/or dog walks. I love dogs - I grew up with a very energetic and intelligent Border Terrier named Archie, and I have experience playing with and walking other breeds. I have helped friends care for two stubborn Corgis, a very energetic Goldendoodle, a beautiful English bulldog, a well-behaved and friendly Doberman, and many others. I love all breeds, all sizes, and all temperaments. Please contact me if you are looking for someone to provide high quality boarding, dog walking, and play services!

Julia has been wonderful to work with! When I first met her, I threw in some oddball requests (including meeting my dogs coming home from my wedding that night on a shuttle!) and she didn't bat an eye. A few weeks later, I found out one of them was diabetic and she gladly came over and learned how to do the daily injections so she could still give both of my senior dogs the care they needed (and they already have a lot of senior dogs issues that don't make them the easiest two pups in the world anymore). I'm really grateful I found Julia and will be continuing to use her for my pet sitting needs.

I’d love to know what activities your dog likes to do, as well as any special health or temperament needs they may have. I’m very flexible and happy to adapt to your dog’s preferences!
A typical day
I am happy to stay overnight at your apartment or house and take your dogs on walks or runs, play with them in the backyard, or just hang out with them on the couch if that's what they like. If your dog is more high-energy, I will take him or her on active walks or even longer jogs or runs. I also love playing ball/frisbee in a park or backyard with highly energetic dogs. I will supervise dog playdates if multiple dogs need care. On top of this, I do have experience training my own dog in basic commands, as well as some fun tricks! I am happy to help practice obedience training with younger dogs. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, and I've taken care of dogs with medical needs, including an elderly pup who needed daily insulin injections for diabetes and eye drops for cataracts.
