Excited to meet new dogs!

Pet care experience

I am a current volunteer at my local animal, shelter, where I assist in the daily care, medicating, feeding, playing, and walking of dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I have cared for dogs from three months to 16 years old, and cats from three months to 22 years old. I am comfortable administering medications of all kinds to both cats and dogs, and I’m not afraid of a challenge when it comes to taking care of a pet.

Safety, trust & environment

I treat my cats like my kids and they get the royal treatment, and I would do the same for anyone else’s pets as well. I make sure every pet I’m visiting gets however much love and attention they are comfortable with or that they want.

Information Julia F. would like to know about your pet

For any dog going on a walk I would need to know if they have any reactivity and to who, specifically relating to other dogs, people or children. I would need to know if you typically walk your dog in crowded areas or if they fair better in a calmer more quiet environment. For cats a brief description of what they tolerate and don’t tolerate is always helpful as some cats do not like strangers or touch, the more info the better to help me provide the best quality care for you and your pets.

A typical day

I like to go on hikes or walks around local parks when walking dogs, for dogs with a fenced in yard I will never turn down a dogs offer to play a little fetch or a rough game of tug. For cats I love to have a good pet session if they’ll allow it, and try out some toys around the house and see which ones your pet likes best.
