Hello! My name is Julie and I am a responsible 43-year-old who is passionate about animals. I have most recently worked for the City of Austin at the Austin Animal Center (animal shelter), and I have many years of animal handling experience, both professionally and personally. In the past I've worked in a doggie day care, pet store, veterinary office and animal shelter, so I have a lot of experience doing various doggie tasks. Up until February I had a Jack Russell Terrier named Bandita who I loved for 16 years. Now I have a crazy Chihuahua/Rat terrier named Cindy Lou Who. She's a big love and has been there for me whenever I've needed her. I have owned cats, reptiles and rodents in the past, so am able to care for other animals in your house as well. If there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that dogs have all sorts of individual personalities. Some breeds need more exercise than others, some are not so good with other dogs and some just need to see a friendly face every few hours. Whatever your dog's breed, personality and likes/dislikes, I'm here to help and will be sure to treat them as my own.
