I’ve had all kinds of pets so taken care of many animals over the years and always had dogs and cats around. I have been pet sitting for the last couple of years and really enjoy it. We’ve recently got a puppy so your doggo will have a furry companion to play with as well.

Julia has been regularly dog walking and dog sitting for my dog for over 12 months. I have a reactive daschound who is not always friendly to other dogs/other people so nervous about who I can leave him with - I only ever left him with family before Julia. She is highly reliable, clean, tidy, friendly and never missed a day or pre-booked stay. I feel completely relaxed knowing Julia will be looking after my dog. I can highly recommend.

I have a fenced garden and a large downstairs area. I would take the dogs out for a walk dependant on their needs - long/short/alone etc. I really enjoy walking and pet setting makes me healthier. I have a separate area for cats if they don’t get along. I don’t have a cat flap so you don’t need to worry about kitty going out. I’ve included a picture of our fenced garden.

I’d like to know if there is any behaviours I need to be aware of, how well they get on with children and other animals. I’d like to know how much exercise they need and what you’d typically be doing with your dog so I can keep it familiar for them. Also they have any special requirements for feeding or medication.
A typical day
We’d all have breakfast first. The kids like going out on the garden and playing games with the doggies, and then we’d go for a walks. I like going somewhere new or out in the car for a proper hike in the hills of derbyshire.

I work part time so I’m at the house most of the time with 3 children, all over the age of six and love animals.
