Pet care experience

Hi! My name is Julia and I'd love to take care of your pet. They will be treated like my own while in my care. I live in an apartment now and have no pets but have had dogs at home my whole life - up to three large 70+ lb dogs at a time. I am a data analyst (wfh), avid reader and runner. I am very responsible and active person. Your pet will feel at home with me and I do my best to ensure their happiness and comfort. You will get lots of photos of their time with me. Whether your pet comes to stay with me or I stay with them they'll be well taken care of. Whether it's a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood, a fun game of fetch in the park, or a cozy cuddle session on the couch, I tailor my approach to each pet's preferences. Safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities, ensuring that every pet I care for feels cherished and secure. My commitment to pet care goes beyond the basics; I'm a firm believer in enriching their lives with mental stimulation and love. Whether it's introducing new toys, providing tasty treats, or simply spending quality time together, I strive to make every moment memorable. I understand that pets are cherished family members, and I'm honored to be entrusted with their well-being. With me, your beloved companions are not just in good hands; they're in the hands of someone who genuinely adores them.

Julia was absolutely fabulous with our little chihuahua mix Basil. She gave her tons of love and activity, which was a huge relief for us considering it was Basil’s first time staying in our apartment without us. Julia totally understood and made an effort to make Basil comfortable upon their first meeting (about a week before our trip). We were really nervous when we left, but then we got so many adorable pictures throughout and she looked like she was having lots of fun. It gave us peace of mind :) We will definitely give Julia a call if we ever need a dog sitter again, she went above and beyond!

Julia took great care of our pup while we were away, graciously rolled with some last minute chaos on my end, and left us a nice little report about how it all went. We would gladly book her again.

Julia was the best dog sitter I’ve ever had - frequent photos of fun walks and great updates. She was so friendly and professional and I will definitely be hoping she is available for any and all future bookings!

Information Julia E. would like to know about your pet

For sleepovers in my home, I'd like to know if there are issues with whining, barking or separation anxiety. I would also like to know if the dog has accidents or marks in the house. I am unable to accept dogs with these issues to stay in my home. For visits, drop ins, and walks I'd like to know if your dog has separation anxiety, or issues with aggressive behavior.

A typical day

I usually take several walks per day. If it's ok with you I will bring your dog with me on one of the lovely nature walks in the area, such as the East Bay Bike Path and the Turner Reservoir. If you check out my photos, you'll see pictures of some of the places I've taken the dogs that are in my care. I ensure each pet gets as much stimulation as possible with long walks, trips to the dog park when appropriate, play time, and visits to dog-friendly restaurants.
