Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Julia! I’m a recent grad working in tech that recently moved to the Financial District. I’m looking to make some extra money while getting to hang out with some amazing dogs - living the dream! Please reach out if you have any questions :) I have experience taking care of my pet cat at home who I absolutely adore. I have a lot of experience with dog care, both officially and unofficially. My rector at school had a French bulldog, Oscar, and I would often take care of him and take him for walks! I actively used Rover throughout college and have done a few drop in visits throughout the city. I’ve worked with a variety of dogs - big and small, friendly and shy - so I feel confident working with your dog. I am a very active, smart, and trustworthy person. I have the luxury of working from home 3-4 days a week, which allows me the opportunity to hang with dogs that have separation anxiety or need to go out more frequently.

What a GREAT experience with Julia! We had the best weekend away because we were NOT worried about our dogs. Having 4 dogs can be difficult to find someone who is willing to care for them... not Julia! From the moment she met our dogs she was so kind and gentle with them. We have a puppy who is EXTREMELY hyper and another rescue dog that is super shy.. and Julia made she they all had a great weekend with her. She took several photos during her stay and sent to us.. also stayed in touch with us by text. We even had one of our dogs get in the trash while she was there and she reported this to us... we felt like Julia was really responsible and truly loved the time she spend with our dogs while we were gone! Would recommend her and we will be using her again! Thank you Julia!

Julia is wonderful! Even though we did a meet and greet, our dog gave her a very hard time when she came to the house while we were gone. Julia handled it amazingly! She is a very kind and enthusiastic person and was gentle and loving even when our dog growled and barked at her. Julia kept in touch with us while we were gone and sent us photos. She took great care of our dog and our home and definitely went the extra mile for us. We are so grateful!
Julia was great! Very friendly and made us feel super comfortable leaving our aussie with a sitter from Rover for the first time. She was accomdating and took such great care of Drake. Julia kept us up to date with how he was doing and sent lots of photos to keep us worryfree. We arrived home later in the evening than expected, and she was more than happy to stay a little late with Drake. We were away for 3 nights and when we arrived home our condo was just how we left it (maybe cleaner!). We 100% recommend Julia and would book her again without hesitation! Thanks Julia!!

A typical day
I am a very active individual and have an affinity to the west side highway and Battery Park. As a precaution, I avoid any dog parks or dog-heavy areas, my mentality is that it’s always better to be safe than sorry. When dog sitting, I try to match the dogs attitude. If your dog is a couch potato, fine by me! If you they love to be outside and go for a hot girl walk, I’m right there with them. If it’s a mix of the two, I can do that too!
