Taking care of animals has always been a huge priority for me. From taking care and raising little puppies to being a pet sitter to training to become a vet tech, I’ve always tried to do my best when it comes to helping animals be happy! I love taking new pups under my wing, and believe that it’s simply my duty to make sure that they are as happy as can be. As a dog owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to be away from them, so I’ll do everything I can to make you feel like they’re still right by your side! Dogs have almost always been in my life in one shape or form, but my experience with animals goes far beyond just hanging out with them! I’ve been a professional pet sitter and walker for over three years now, and absolutely love every minute of it. Getting to work with dogs is such a delight, but it’s also been a great learning experience. I’ve gained lots of insight into working with different animal personalities and temperaments, and have loved developing strategies to handle them. It’s even inspired me to begin schooling to become a veterinary technician, witch I start in the fall! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all.
